Lecture Chladni Sound Bath Meditation Frequencies You Can Hear, Feel and See with certified sound therapy practitioner Erica Nagel Erica Nagel , owner of Sound Healings This sound bath meditation, led by certified sound therapy practitioner Erica Nagel, offers a rare opportunity to witness sound as a visual phenomenon. Participants will discover how specific frequencies generate distinct symmetrical patterns known as nodal lines, the areas where vibration ceases — revealing the hidden geometry of sound. Using a wide range of instruments, including Chinese wind gongs, Himalayan double chalices, quartz crystal singing bowls, Solfeggio tuning forks and quartz crystal tetrahedron Merkaba instruments, Nagel creates a multisensory soundscape designed to guide the nervous system into deep rest and restoration. This journey invites deep listening, expanded awareness, and a profound connection to the unseen vibrational patterns that shape both our inner and outer worlds. The 90-minute session is open to all. It requires no prior meditation experience, only a receptive presence. Please bring a yoga mat or a sleeping mat. After the meditation, participants are welcome to traverse the museum's third-floor Blair Breakout Gallery to experience the visual art of Linling Lu, whose sonically inspired paintings consist of bands of color that appear to vibrate before the viewer's eye. This presentation is part of the exhibition Linling Lu: Fugue in 3 Voices . --> All museum lectures and public programs of The Baker Museum include same-day admission to The Baker Museum .
