The Borealis Wind Quintet

Founded at the Juilliard School in 1977, the Grammy-nominated Borealis Wind Quintet has captivated audiences throughout the world by their exquisite programming featuring newly commissioned works, engaging collaborations, fanciful opera and pop arrangements, and the finest of the classics.

Praised by the New York Times, Washington Post and the Philadelphia Inquirer for their polished and elegant performances, we’re excited to welcome Borealis to The Moorings’ resonant sanctuary.
